So this is the guy who Abdul Malik lambasted. Malik is a Muslem cleric who spoke at UCSC last year.
In any case, we have here a top notched speaker. He should be really good.

Wow, you guys are really asking for it now. Can you tell me that you couldn't find ANYONE more reasonable than Daniel Pipes to come and talk about Israel and Islam? He's like, the Jewish answer to Goebbels.
If Pipes is analogous to Goebbels, it's not a far cry to say that Malik is analagous to Hitler. Depends on the way you look at it, I suppose.
His topic is not Israel and Islam; its "The Threat to Israel's Existence: Why It's Back, How to Deal with It"
Do you think, Rabbi Bochner, that the ANSWER to "the threat to Israel's existence" isn't going to be "Islam," when Pipes gives his talk? Don't be naive.
