The Jews probably control Morocco too. In fact, Malik is probably just a puppet of the Jews so they can incite hate against themselves! It's all true--you can read about it in some of the classics of all time, like The Protocols of the Elders of Zion and Mein Komf, both best-sellers in the Arab world.
Black Fedora: I love the suggstion for a "learn-in" and hope that you and some students can help organize this either if Malik comes back or if SCIAC and Hillel puts on a Jewish and Israel pride event later this year in the Quarry Plaza. Also, the point of the JSU, SCIAC, Hillel action is not to try to engage Malik ("talking to a corps"). It is to provide support to Jewish students that are hurt by him being invited by the CJP and to provide factual educational materials about Israel for interested people who attend the talk.
I realized that Abdul Malik Ali totally slipped up in this video. Usually, he get's away with his overt anti-Semitism because he calls Jews "Zionist Jews," so he makes it sound like he's only talking about some of the Jews. But check this out: "Rupert Murdoch, yeah he's a Zionist Jew - yeah his mother is a Zionist Jew, so that makes him a Zionist Jew."Hm, since when did a person's bloodline determine what their political beliefs are? If Murdoch's mother is indeed Jewish, which may or may not be the case, she may or not support the State of Israel as well. But to Malik Ali, apparently the definition of "Jew" is "Zionist Jew," and being a "Zionist Jew" is passed from mother to children. He totally dropped the whole facade right there. *sigh*
FB- I don't know that he actually got his info from DavidDuke.com, but when you do a google search on any of Malik's "facts", JewWatch and David Duke just happen to come up in the top ten.
I had to be in class at noon yesterday, so I wasn't able to witness Malik's "brilliance" in the Baytree Plaza, but from what I have heard from other people who were there and from having just watched the video posted here, I clearly didn't miss much. That is not to say that Malik's words are not utterly offensive and his delivery is not intimidating to the point that it can be difficult to listen to him, but once you get past his obvious anti-Semitic rhetoric, he really just sounds like a moron. He repeats the same asine accusations over and over: "The Zionist Jews control the world/Zionism is white supremacy/I have a list of all the Zionist Jews who control the media, but I didn't bring it with me -or- it would take too long to read you the whole thing" etc etc. Anyone who has ever learned anything about logic and argument would see through him in a second. Granted, he speaks loudly and knows how to command an audience, but that's where his strengths end, in my opinion. In all the footage I have seen of him, I have found it humorous to watch him sputter and flail his arms around for emphasis, stumbling over relatively easy words, like "islamofascist" for example. Not to mention the fact that he frequently resorts to petty insults in his speeches, like yesterday when apparently he called Black people who support Israel, "Uncle Tom poop butt negros."I mean, come on. Poop butt? I think the CJP did a great job of making themselves look quite silly by bringing this obviously uninformed, inarticulate fool of a man to represent their cause during what was ostensibly their moment of greatest visibility all year. P.S. - Someone should tell Malik it was Chaim Weizmann who was Israel's first president, not David Ben-Gurion. Ben-Gurion was the first prime minister. It might make a difference in the "facts" he choses to invent for his next speech.
I think it was hashgacha pratis that this video resurfaced today.
That's an old clip, my man. Jewlicious had it a while back.
I know it's an old clip, my man--it was also on the JewniProj a while back. That's why I said it "resurfaced" and that's why I said it was hasgacha pratis that it resurfaced, because this is such a funny thread to have it resurface in, my man.
As a proud American Muslim (who happens to be dark-skinned), I am offended by his portrayal of Muslims as being anti-semitic. We all believe in the same One God, Indivisible, the Lord of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, Isaac, Ishmael, David, Solomon, etc. The One God who led the Hebrews out of captivity in Egypt to the Promised Land. And there exists a deep respect for the previous Community (the Children of Israel) in Islam. So much that Muhammad (may peace be upon him), when he found out that the Jews of Medina used to fast on the Tenth of the First Month of the Lunar Calendar, stated, "I am closer to Moses (being a Prophet) than they are" and made it obligatory for ALL Muslims to fast on the same day, commemorating Moses' fast (in which he praised and thanked God for leading the Chosen People out of Israel). That said, I am extremely disappointed by the fact that any statement in favor of the people of Palestine and Lebanon is always taken as anti-Semitic. I am a staunch advocate for the reunification of Palestine and Israel, and believe that the current Israeli Government exists illegally in the international system. As a student of political science and foreign policy, I am well versed in the history of Israel, and will debate with anyone over the matter. There's a reason why most people know the Israeli Defense MInister more than the actual President of Israel. There are tapes and transcripts of Ariel Sharon's statements while he was defense minister that would scare ANYONE out of their mind. There exits a strong air of hatred between Arabs and Israelis that shouldn't exist, but does because the United Kingdom and President Harry Truman (against the advice of Secretary of State, George Marshall) disregarded all decency, courtesy and foresight when shipping millions of the Jewish Population from Europe and elsewhere to the Holy Land. That's not how states were meant to be created. It's just not. Both the Arabs and the Jewish People were played by the Western Powers, and are still being played by certain agents in the international system.Anyways, sorry for the rant, but I feel that too many people behave irrationally towards the Zionist Movement, Israel, Jews, and Arabs. We're all one people, from the same Abraham who found God out of his own inquiry. We need to grow up. All of us, Jew, Christian, and Muslim. We're hindering our own progress, at the expense of millions of lives worldwide.
