Israel Party in SF

There's a big Jewish party going down this Saturday night in celebration of our favorite country's birthday:
Come Party and Dance the Night Away for Israel's Birthday!

Info and tickets at

This Saturday, May 6, 2006 9:30pm - 2am
Canvas Gallery ~ 1200 9th Ave and Lincoln Way, San Francisco

Come join hundreds of young adults from across California in celebrating the Israeli Independence Day!

FREE DRINKS for first 100 people.

All proceeds benefit Save a Child's Heart, an Israeli organization providing urgently needed pediatric heart surgery and follow-up care for children from developing countries.

Bring everyone you know! With 350 attendees last year, we raised nearly $3,000 for charity.

Please contact Mary Zarkhina, MZarkhina AT gmail DOT com with any questions!
I'm not going, but I would suggest that some of you work on ride-shares through the comments section.

Well, yeah, obviously the event has less to do with Israel than it does with getting young Jewish people together, if you know what I mean.

Shtoop-fest was a bit harsh though.

I just want to note that I was at that party myself only a few years ago. It was one stepping stone on my journey to a broader awareness of my own Jewish identity, an awareness of my place among the Jewish people, and an awareness of Torah. I'm just saying...
